Viewing begins today for slain Plymouth Township officer Bradley Fox

The viewing for slain Plymouth Township Police Officer Bradley Fox will begin tonight at Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Plymouth Meeting at 5 p.m.

Fox was killed Thursday by Andrew Charles Thomas, 44, who then shot and killed himself. A preliminary investigation revealed that Thomas, who was on probation for a forgery charge, ambushed Fox who was in pursuit with his K-9 partner, Nick, after Thomas fled the scene of a hit-and-run.

The mass for Fox is Wednesday following another viewing from 7 to 10:30 a.m. He will be buried at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

Fox, who served two tours in Iraq, leaves behind a pregnant wife and a young child. He is the first Plymouth Township police officer killed in the line of duty.
