CAMBRIDGE – Police from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology issued a crime alert after two female students were accosted by a man in Boston early Monday morning.

The first student was assaulted about 3 a.m. She was walking on Beacon Street toward Massachusetts Avenue when the man pulled the hood of her jacket in an attempt to grab her closer, according to MIT.

The second woman was approached by the man while standing with friends who told him to leave.

Police said the suspect was a black man, about 20 to 23 years old with a thin build and short hair.
