The family of a Roxbury mother who was gunned down inside a convenience store this weekend was too upset to speak yesterday, and a second victim of this weekend’s violence has died.

Tahitia Milton lived less than a mile from the convenience store where she was shot about 3 p.m. Saturday. Milton’s family said they would be having someone speak on their behalf at a later time.

Police said that an AK-47 rifle was used during the incident and a preliminary investigation revealed that it was not a random shooting.

About three hours after that shooting, two men were shot on Boylston Street in Jamaica Plain.
One of those men, Luis Torres, 23, of Boston, later died, police said.
