The floor of a cafe inside the ritzy Le Parker Meridien hotel was flooded this morning with wet concrete.
The thick flow of wet concrete soaked into the Knave Cafe & Bar, stunning tourists who sat there eating.
According to the New York Post, the accident happened at 11:30 today, after construction workers near the hotel at West 56th Street and Central Park were pouring concrete. Somehow, the wet, sticky mixture flooded into the hotel cafe.
The concrete was about a foot deep, and the flow moved chairs and tables. Nobody was injured in the freak accident.
