Even barackobama.com features this event, and notes that they are expecting a huge turn out. Most people will need to stand, but the event, named for the progressive group Drinking Liberally, includes food and drink specials like $5 Barack O-Bombs, with Absolut mandarin and Blue Curacao dropped into Sprite.
259 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn
This Latin American and French restaurant will extend their $3 draft beer happy hour from 4 p.m. until the debate ends around 10:30 p.m., instead of the usual 8 p.m. cap.

This bar is hosting round two of their debate watch parties, with Rockobama Drink specials for $8 and happy hour specials from 6 to 8 p.m. to get you ready for the debate, which starts at 9 p.m.

The bar is offering a debate watch party with food and drink specials as you watch the debates from an option of 16 big-screen views.
16 W. 8th Street
This Greenwich Village haunt is suspending their typical live music to host “this extremely important event,” as they call it. They’re extending two-for-one happy hour specials for the debates.
82 4th Avenue, Brooklyn
Brooklyn’s Drinking Liberally group will be at the Pacific Standard when the president and former governor go head to head. The group will first meet at the 4th Avenue Pub at 7 p.m. first, before heading next door.
