A 21-year-old woman died this morning in a wreck on the Williamsburg Bridge, police said.
According to police, officers responded to 911 calls reporting a crash on the eastbound section of the Williamsburg Bridge about 4 a.m. Monday.
When they arrived, cops found a 21-year-old woman unconscious on the road.
Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
Police said a 2003 silver Nissan Altima was speeding and overcompensated a turn, hitting a metal divider and causing a rear passenger to be ejected.

The driver, 23, parked nearby, cops said.
Four other people in the car were taken to the hospital.
Charges are pending against the driver, cops said.
