Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found with multiple stab wounds inside a Brooklyn house on Monday.
Cops responded to a call about a foul odor coming from 1315 Avenue N in Midwood about 9:30 p.m. They found the woman in a bedroom with head trauma and stab wounds to her back, police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. A person of interest has been taken into custody, according to police. The investigation is ongoing.
The woman’s identity has not been released pending proper family notification.
