An 85-year-old woman was pushed to the ground and robbed inside her apartment in the Chinatown section of Manhattan earlier this week, police said.
The victim was inside the elevator with the suspect at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday when the suspect got off the elevator first, police said. When the victim entered her apartment, the suspect shoved her to the floor and took cash from her and from inside the apartment.
The suspect is in his 20s, approximately 5-foot-7 and 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with lettering on it.
