A woman died in a fire in her Staten Island home Saturday night, officials said.
The fire broke out in the first floor of the 61-year-old woman's two-story Willowbrook home around 6 p.m., police and fire officials said.

Twelve fire trucks and 60 firefighters responded to the blaze and had it under control after 19 minutes, the fire department said.
After the fire was extinguished, police found the woman unconscious and unresponsive in her home with severe burns. Emergency personnel declared her dead at the scene, police said.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death, police said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, officials said.
