A 33-year-old Dorchester woman was charged on Wednesday with fatally stabbing an elderly Roxbury man to death last month.
Angeliea Brown was charged with murder for the Aug. 14 stabbing, Boston police said Thursday.
Police said Brown fatally stabbed Winston Fields, 73, of Roxbury. Fields was found dead inside his home at 2311 Washington St. He was last seen alive Aug. 9

Brown was arrested on Aug. 11 on drug charges and was currently being held in jail when police obtained an arrest warrant for her for the stabbing death.
Police said they were able to get a warrant charging her with Fields' death after an "extensive investigation and community cooperation."
She was due to be arraigned in court on Friday.
