Police said the victim, a Dedham resident, was driving her car northbound on the VFW Parkway in West Roxbury when another vehicle shot at her car several times.
She then drove herself to the Dedham Police Department, and was transported by ambulance to the Beth Israel Hospital. Police said the reason for the shooting is still under investigation but the suspect and victim are known to each other. Her gunshot wounds were not considered life threatening.
State and Boston Police were able to identify and locate two persons of interest in the shooting.
Marcel Reed, 20, of Roslindale and Andrew Renna, 21, of Mattapan were both charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and assault with intent to murder and are being held without bail.
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Dedham District Court on Monday for arraignment.
