A woman walking into her North End apartment building was attacked from behind by a man late Sunday.
Boston police said the woman told officers she was walking into the foyer of her building near Salem and Hull streets at about 10:30 p.m. when a man approached her from behind and indecently assaulted her. She said the man then ran away toward Commercial Street.
Police described the suspect as a white man in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds with short brown or light brown hair. He was wearing a dark-colored coat with a zipper and dark colored jeans.
