Woman put in choke hold, robbed in Brooklyn

A woman walking down a Brooklyn street last Friday morning was put in a choke hold and robbed by two men, police said.

The victim, 38, was walking in front of 782 Myrtle Ave. in Bed-Stuy about 7 a.m. when the suspects approached her from behind, put her in a choke hold and took her bag that contained a computer, cell phone and wallet.

About an hour later, one of the men used the woman’s credit card at a nearby McDonald’s, police said.

Both suspects are described as black males, about 5-foot-6 and weighing 140 lbs.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
