A Bethlehem woman today was charged with aggravated assault for a March 6 incident in which she allegedly slashed her landlord's cheek with a knife, according to the Morning Call.
Tiffany Lee Wenhold, 25, of the 1500 block of Chelsea Avenue, also faces charges of reckless endangerment and simple assault. The incident happened around 9:20 p.m. on March 6 at her home. Police say Wenhold stabbed landlord Wendy Welsh on her left cheek. Welsh told police she took the knife from Wenhold, the paper reports.
Officers on scene said when they found Wenhold in her bedroom, she had knives on her bed.
Wenhold is presently in county prison on $25,000 bail.
