Woman struck by Red Line in Dorchester

A 45-year-old woman was injured Monday when she was struck by a Red Line train in Dorchester.

A 45-year-old woman was injured Monday when she was struck by a Red Line train in Dorchester.

Police said they received a call for a person possibly struck at Shawmut Avenue MBTA Station around 1:25 p.m. The victim, who was not identified, was said to be trespassing on the inbound track. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment; it's unclear how badly she was hurt.
