A young man was killed in a shooting in the Bronx Sunday morning, police said.
Around 6:15 a.m., police officers assigned to Bronx Lebanon Hospital responded to a shooting three blocks away.

The officers found 22-year-old Rafael Alam shot in the chest at E. 174th Street and Jerome Avenue in Morris Heights.
Alam, of Fordham Heights, was brought to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
There are no arrests and police said the investigation is ongoing.
