London match-maker Part II: What if these Olympic athletes got together?

Here is Part II of Olympic match-maker. Click here for Part I.

Kerri Walsh and Tyson Chandler

Compatibility: 7

Walsh is 6-foot-3. Chandler is 7-foot-1. The gate-keeper and key-master of height must get these two together in order to create the next, great NBA post player. Charlotte Bobcats, you’re on the clock.

Hope Solo and Justin Gatlin

Compatibility: 9

Both are perceived bad asses in their respective sports and both have no problem screwing with the minds of suits at anti-doping agencies.

Solo tested positive for Canrenone (whatever that is) back in June and was given a warning (whatever that is).

Gatlin was suspended for four years (FOUR YEARS!!!) back in 2006 by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for hints of what is believed to be testosterone. He had his world record wiped right out because of this. Even Roger Goodell thought the whole thing to be a bit harsh.

Kellie Wells and Russell Westbrook

Compatibility: 8

One has streaks of blue hair and the other loves red glasses. In other words, if they had a kid he would look exactly like Brainy Smurf.

Aly Raisman and Kevin Durant

Compatibility: 5

Raisman is the only gymnast we feel comfortable with putting in this space, namely because she’s the only U.S. gymnast who is 18.

What gets Raisman paired with Durant is the fact that both of them are just so damn likeable. Sure, neither are great interviews but their humble greatness at their respective sport is what gets the job done here.

Plus, both excel in the open floor.

Where they differ? Durant has a little more flash in his game than his female counterpart and is a little better in the all-around, so Raisman could learn a thing or two from KD.

God, is the Olympics over yet? I’m really getting tired of pretending I know what I’m talking about with gymnastics. NFL preseason games never looked so appealing.
