Designer L’Wren Scott’s sudden death was made even more shocking when her social media accounts continued posting several hours after she died. Because of previously scheduled posts or a PR team that wasn’t yet aware of her passing, several Facebook posts and tweets appeared after her death was announced, confusing and upsetting her followers. Perhaps the eeriest image was the above photoof several of L’Wren’s designs hung from a tree and apparently lit from within, which appeared on the designer’s Facebook just hours after her death was announced. A strange, ghostly image indeed, after the designer’s apparent suicide.

Scott’s Twitter account also remained active, leaving some fans unsure of whether her death was a hoax or not. Fashion blogger Bryan Boy shared a befuddled screenshot.

L’Wren Scott, luxury fashion designer and Mick Jagger’s girlfriend, was found dead of a possible suicide in her Manhattan apartment Monday morning, according to police and published report. The 49-year-old former model was reportedly found hanging from a doorknob just after 10 a.m. at 200 11th Ave. in Chelsea.
