Madonna fearing for her life because of Sean Penn’s El Chapo stunt

While Sean Penn has been calmly patting himself on the back for both helping to bring Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman to justice and single-handedly saving journalism, his ex-wife — and current squeeze — Madonna has not been doing so well. Sources tell Radar Online that Madonna, who is apparently dating Penn again, fears for her life now that a connection has been drawn between the actor’s October interview with the drug lord and his later capture. Because obviously. “While tough-talking Sean told her she’s safe, Madonna nonetheless is living in fear,” a source says. “She is furious with Sean for putting her in danger.”

And apparently her fears aren’t that irrational, at least according to one law enforcement consultant. “El Chapo’s associates are going to want payback for his arrest and they’ll stop at nothing to get it,” John A. Carman tells Radar. In their minds, they blame Sean and Madonna for bringing down the ‘most dangerous man in the world’ — and that will mark them both for death.” See, I knew dating Sean Penn was a bad idea.
