Police in Duxbury Tasered and arrested a Maine man early Sunday morning after he allegedly shot two men at random in what investigators described as a drive-by shooting.

Lucas McPherson, 25, of Mapleton, Maine, allegedly shot the first victim, 33, on Tremont Street around 1:15 a.m., Boston.com reported. Police reportedly noticed a “suspicious vehicle” in the area, according to the report.

The car was spotted later on Tobey Garden Street, where another man told police he’d been shot by the car’s driver. Police reportedly subdued McPherson with a Taser, according to Boston.com, and recovered a shotgun in his car while arresting him.

He was due to be arraigned Monday, the report stated. Both victims suffered nonlife-threatening injuries
