Man accused of exposing himself to Brooklyn girl in custody: Report

A man accused of exposing himself to an 11-year-old Brooklyn girl has been taken into custody.

Officials have not identified the suspect, who was apprehended by police on Tuesday night, ABC7 reported.

On Tuesday morning, the 11-year-old girl was on her way to school when she was confronted by a man who police say exposed himself to her.

The incident happened at about 8:30 a.m. nearElton Street and Pitkin Avenue in the East New Yorksection of the borough.

According to authorities, the girl was walking down the street when the unidentified man approached her and grabbed her arm while exposing his private parts.

The child screamed and the suspect fled westbound on Pitkin Avenue, police said.

Authorities described the suspect as a black male, about 20 years old, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He was last seenwearing a black hoodie jacket, black jeans, a baseball cap with red rim, glasses and black sneakers.
