A man who was accused of stabbing his brother, raping a woman and then kidnapping them both is going to jail after pleading guilty to multiple charges, the Boston Herald reported.

Keven Blakemore, 21, of Boxboro, was sentenced to up to 12 years in state prison and 10 years of probation by a Lowell judge on Monday.

Blakemore was accused of stabbing his brother, Ken Herbison, 10 times on Aug. 20, 2015, after a fight that was reportedly over his brother’s girlfriend. Officials alleged that Blakemore then forced the woman to take off her clothes and sexually assaulted her after tying her to a chair.

The Lowell Sunreported that two counts of rape were placed on file without a change of plea.

Blakemore then forced the pair into a car and drove 800 miles to Ohio where, because of his brother’s wounds, he was forced to take him to a hospital.

“Initially, Herbison told emergency personnel he had been injured in an ATV accident, but the injuries didn’t match, and the police were called,” The Lowell Sun reported.

Blakemore told investigators several stories before admitting to the attacks.
