Police officers were congratulated for their swift action and arrest of a man who allegedly sexually assaulted an 8-year-old boy on the subway, the NBC New York reported. The incident reportedly occurred on Monday night at the 69th stop in Queens.
“The victim was riding a Manhattan-bound 7 train with his mom when a man sitting next to him grabbed his buttocks near the 74th St./Broadway station in Jackson Heights about 7:45 p.m., sources said. The boy alerted his mom, who flagged down cops.” The New York Daily News reported. The suspect, 41-year-old Johnny Flores was charged with sex abuse, forcible touching, and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
