A 22-year-old woman and 26-year-old man were found dead of gunshot wounds in an apparent murder-suicide Monday night in Washington Heights, police said. Roommates discovered the bodies in the woman’s bedroom at 719 W. 180th St. There were no signs of forced entry and it was not believed anyone else was involved, police said.
The woman, who was shot in the head, was found with her hands tied behind her back, police said. The man, who lives in Virginia, appearsto have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A semiautomatic weapon was found near the bodies. The victims have not been identified,and police are still investigating.
