A Florida man was arrested for an alleged sixth OUI violation Thursday in North Reading after police said he left a restaurant while intoxicated and started to drive away.
Authorities said Thomas Frawley, 65, of Naples, was spotted by police pulling out of the parking lot and driving down Route 28.
The officer pulled Frawley over and said he confirmed the man was drunk at the scene, prompting his arrest.
Frawley was held on $2,000 bail.
