A manwas fatally struck by a 6 train Wednesday morning on the Upper East Side, disrupting service during the morning rush, according to the MTA.
Officials told DNAinfothatthe person was struck atthe 77th Street stationjust before 8 a.m.after jumping in front of a train. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident caused extensive delays in 4, 5 and 6 service, but resumed at about 9:30 a.m. with residual delays.
