Man followed, touched elderly woman inside Queens building: Police


The NYPD has released surveillance video of a man they say forcibly touched a 76-year-old woman as she entered her apartment building early Sunday morning.

On April 3 at about 8:40 a.m. the suspect followed the victim into her apartment building near 44th Street and 25th Avenue in Astoria, according to police.

While in the building’s lobby he placed his hand on her leg and when the victim yelled out for him to stop, the suspect ran out of the building and fled westbound on 44th Street, cops said.

Police describe the suspect as a white or Hispanic man, between 30 and 40 years old, 5 foot 10 to 6 feet tall, and between 180 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.
