A man was shot and killed in the West Brighton neighborhood of Staten Island early on Sunday morning, police said.
Police responded to the scene at 3:48 a.m. and found a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest. The unidentified victim was lying outside of 386 Forest Avenue, a Capital One bank branch next door to a bar called the Black Dog Grill.
The man was taken to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing.
