Man slashed in head, ear while sitting inside parked Lexus in the Bronx: Police

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they say is wanted for allegedly slashing a victim on Wednesday afternoon as he was sitting inside his car in the Bronx.

On April 6 at about 4:43 p.m. the suspect — described as a Hispanic man — approached the 28-year-old victim as he was seated inside a 1999 Lexus parked in front of 1975 Lafontaine Ave., according to police.

The suspect then slashed the victim in the head and ear and ran away from the scene, cops said. The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital to be treated for the injuries.

Police describe the suspect as being between 25 and 45 years old and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, black hat, black jacket with gray sleeves, blue jeans and white shoes.
