Man surrenders to police in New Year’s shooting case

A third man turned himself into police custody Tuesday morning to face charges in connection with the New Year’s Day shooting that left three people dead.

The man walked into police headquarters at 133 6th Ave SE just after 9:30 a.m., police confirmed.

Police already laid charges against two men in connection with the triple murder that left a gang member and his associate dead, as well as bystander Keni Su’a.

Police have charged Michael Joseph Roberto, 25, and Real Christian Honario, 25, with three counts of first-degree murder.

More details are expected before end of day.
