Man who allegedly exposed himself on Red Line arrested: Transit Police

A man seen exposing his genitals on the Red Line who was seen possibly attempting to grope a woman in the station was arrested Monday, police said.

Robert McCarty, 40, of Boston was arrested at the Harvard Square T stop around 5 p.m.

He was charged with two counts of open and gross lewdness.

Witnesses told police that they saw a man expose himself to them while riding a train near Park Street station late last month.

The men left the train at that station and was reportedly seen attempting to grope another woman as he climbed the stairs.

McCarty was transported to the department’s headquarters for booking. His court date was not immediately available.
