View NYC Street Closures for special events: September 12, 13 and 14 in a larger map
The Department of Transportation and NYPD said there may be residual delays near all of the street closures on September 12, 13 and 14. There will be many streets and avenues closed on Saturday for special events. Check out the map. Plan accordingly.
Friday, September 12
Stone Street between Hanover Square and Broad Street and Mill Lane between Stone Street and South William Street will remain closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m until for theStone Street Pedestrian Mall.
Mulberry Street between Canal Street and Broome Street and Mill Lane between Stone Street and South William Street will be closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 p.m to 9 p.m for theLittle Italy Pedestrian Mall.
From September 11 through September 21, the following streets in lower Manhattan will be closed for the San Gennaro Festival:
- Mulberry Street between Canal Street and East Houston Street
- Grand Street between Mott Street and Centre Street
- Hester Street between Mott Street and Centre Street
Saturday, September 13
FifthAvenue between East 80th Street and East 59th Street will be closed in Manhattanfrom 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the NYRR Continental Airlines 5th Avenue Mile.
Broadway between West 47th Street and West 57th Street will be closed in Manhattan from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Guardian Angels and St. Patrick’s Fair.
Broadway between West 110th Street and West 116th Street in Manhattan will be closed from Noon to 5 p.m. for the 21st Annual Upper Broadway Autumn Festival.
Havemeyer Street between South 4th Street and Grand Street in Brooklyn will be closed from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the DOT Weekend Walks Southside Connex event.
Woodside Avenue between Roosevelt Avenue and 65th Place and 61st Street between Roosevelt Avenue and Woodside Avenue will be closed from Noon to 6 p.m. for the Woodside on the Move-Woodside Avenue Festival.
The Bronx Aids Walk is this Saturday and there will be street closures and delays along the following streets:
- Southern Boulevard between Westchester Avenue and East 163rd Street
- East 163rd Street between Southern Boulevard and Bruckner Boulevard
- Hunts Point Avenue between Bruckner Boulevard and Spofford Avenue
- Spofford Avenue between Hunts Point and Manida Street
- Manida Street between Spofford Avenue and Lafayette Avenue
Grand Concourse between 170th Street and 161st Street in The Bronx will be closed from Noon to 8 p.m. for the March for God’s Glory event.
Sunday, September 14
Amsterdam Avenue between West 106th Street and West 110th Street in Manhattan will be closed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m for DOT Weekend Walks Bloomingdale Family Days.
Madison Avenue between 37th Street and 25th Street and surrounding areas in Manhattan will be closed from 1 p.m to 6 p.m. for the United American Muslim Day Parade.
Lexington Avenue between East 79th Street and East 96th Street in Manhattan will be closed from Noon to 5 p.m. for the for the 92nd Street Y Lexington Avenue Festival.
Fifth Avenue between 44th Street and 59th Street in Brooklyn will be closed from Noon to 6 pm for the Sunset Park Bid 5th Avenue Street Festival.
Myrtle Avenue between Fresh Pond Road and Wyckoff Avenue in Queens will be closed from Noon to 6 pm for the Myrtle Avenue Bid-Myrtle Avenue Festival.
172nd Street between Jamaica Avenue and Hillside Avenue and surrounding areas in Queens will be closed from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the Fund Raising Parade.
Several streets along Southern Boulevard between East Tremont Avenue and Boston Road in The Bronx and surrounding areas will be closed from Noon to 2:30 p.m. for the International Honduran and Central American Parade.
