MAP: NYC Memorial Day weekend street closures

This Memorial Day weekend, parades, festivals and fairs will cause street closures in New York City.

Here’s a list of the street closures, courtesy of the NYPD. Expect traffic delays near these locations.

Saturday, May 24

From 12 to 6 p.m., the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit will close Washington Square East between Waverley Place and West Fourth Street in Greenwich Village. Sidewalks on University Place between East 13th Street and Waverly Place, plus Washington Place between Washington Square Was and Mercer Street, will also be closed for the exhibit.

The 17th Precinct Community Council Lexington Avenue Spring Festival will close Lexington Avenue between 57th and 42nd Streets from about 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The 37th Annual Dance Africa Bazaar will close several streets in Brooklyn from 12 to 8 p.m.

Sunday, May 25

From about 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., the 13th Precinct Community Council Stuyvesant Park Neighborhood Association Fair will close Lexington Avenue between 42nd and 34th Streets.

The 27th Annual Livable West Side Festival will close the northbound lanes of Broadway between 72nd and 86th Streets from 12 to 5 p.m.

The United Veterans Day Parade will close several streets from 12 to 5 p.m. near Grand Avenue and 72nd Street in Maspeth, Queens.

The College Point Citizens Memorial Day Parade will cause closures from 1 to 3:30 p.m. near 28th Avenue between Ulmer Street and College Point Boulevard.

Memorial Day, Monday, May 26

The Chelsea Reform Democratic Club 6th Avenue Festival will close Sixth Avenue between 14th and 23rd Streets from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Chabad of Wall Street Community Fair will close Liberty Street between Broadway and Trinity Street from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The United War Veterans Memorial Day Parade — one of the oldest Memorial Day parades in the nation — will close several streets from 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. in Brooklyn.

From 12 to 6 p.m., the Broadway Merchants Professional Association will close Broadway between Crescent and 47th Streets in Queens.

The Memorial Day Parade in Queens will close Rockaway Beach Boulevard between Beach 130th and Beach 129th Streets from 12 to 2 p.m.

From 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Allied Veterans Memorial Day Parade will close Cypress Avenue between Myrtle Avenue and Madison Street in Queens.

The Little Neck & Douglaston Memorial Day Parade in Queens will close Northern Boulevard between Glenwood and Great Neck Roads from 2 to 4 p.m.

From 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Howard Beach Memorial Day Parade will close several streets in Queens.

The Staten Island Advance Road Race will close several streets from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The United Staten Island Veterans Parade will close Forest Avenue between Clove Road and Marianne Street from 12 to 3:30 p.m.

The official unveiling of “Miles Davis Way” will close 77th Street between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue from 12 to 2 p.m.
