““My agent told me they hated me and thought I was a moody prick,” he says. “I had to do two auditions before I got the role.” Luckily, after he went in and read with Cumberbatch, producers were more than happy to sign him on.

Freeman first hit the big time when he starred in the original British version of “The Office,” which he readily admits was his big break, saying, “Every fucker watched it.”

Since then, he’s gone on to starring roles in “Fargo” and “The Hobbit” movies, but fame does come with its drawbacks: ““If I want to go out and buy a pint of milk it takes an hour,” he says. Now just imagine how much of a delay there would be if Cumberbatch went with him to buy the milk.
