Mayor turns to province for housing help

Mayor Gregor Robertson called on provincial parties to assist and support Vancouver in its fight for social housing.

Vancouver’s 2009 Interim Solutions Strategy pledges to create 550 units of housing. The city has provided $57 million in development of permanent social housing across 14 sites. So far, the province has only assisted with the funding of six of these sites.
