MBTA issues arrest warrant for Boylston Street train vandal

mbta trolleyTransit Police announced today that they want to arrest an Allston man they believe defaced vintage MBTA trolleysearlier this year.

Daniel Nelligan, 25, is wanted for felony vandalism and trespassing relative for allegedly spray painting the historic trolleysat Boylston Street Station on January 14, 2014.

Transit Police said they identified Nelligan as the alleged vandal after an investigation.

“We are committed to identifying and in conjunction with the various District Attorneys prosecuting graffiti vandals who damage and/or deface MBTA property,” said Transit Police Detective Richard Sullivan.
