MBTA Police arrested a man loitering near the entrance of Downtown Crossing Station on an outstanding warrant for “sex offences against child-fondling.”

Officers asked a man loitering near the Washington Street and Summer Street station entrance what he was up to about 11 a.m.

The man gave police a fake name and date of birth, but eventually learned his real name and found an outstanding warrant issued out of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department in New Hampshire.

Andrew Pike, 21, of Manchester, NH was charged with being a fugitive from justice.
