Meghan McCain, daughter of maverick Senator John McCain, has a problem with Delaware Republican Senate candidate and Tea Party darling, Christine O’Donnell: She’s a “nut job,” McCain says.
At least, that’s the way people perceive her, according to McCain. Appearing on ABC’s “This Week” yesterday, the author of “Dirty, Sexy Politics” explained her aversion to the admitted one-time “witch.”
“I speak as a 26-year-old woman, and my problem is that, no matter what, Christine O’Donnell is making a mockery of running for public office,” McCain said. “She has no real history, no real success in any kind of business.”
McCain went on to explain that the Tea Party movement risks the right losing younger voters.
