Megyn Kelly, host of “The Kelly File” on Fox News, told investigators looking into allegations against Roger Ailes that she was also sexually harassed by the head of Fox News and the Fox Television Stations Group 10 years ago, according to a new report by New York Magazine. The report also said that Rupert Murdoch and his sons gave Ailes an ultimatum: resign by Aug. 1 or be prepared to be fired.

The report alleges that investigators from the New York-based law firm of Paul, Weiss, Kelly, hired by 21st Century Fox, were told “that Ailes made unwanted sexual advances toward [Kelly] about ten years ago when she was a young correspondent at Fox. Kelly, according to the sources, has described her harassment by Ailes in detail.”

When presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump tangled with Megyn Kelly during pre-primary debates, Ailes was praised for backing Kelly, according to Politico. In the past, Kelly said that Ailes helped her when she was starting her television career. She went from corporate attorney to legal correspondent to regular on Bill O’Reilly’s show to hosting her own segments. After getting a two-hour talk show, Kelly replaced Sean Hannity in his 9 p.m. prime time slot in 2013 — all thanks to Ailes, according to New York Magazine.

Greta Van Susteren, an Ailes supporter, told Variety on Monday she “didn’t know anything” about Ailes’ future, adding “I don’t think the lawyers are talking.”

Kelly’s contract is up and she is said to be negotiating with Fox. According to Politico, Kelly has not reached out to GretchenCarlson’s attorneys. Carlson sparked the recent controversy after she accused Ailes of unwanted sexual advances earlier in her career.
