Menino’s funeral to be broadcast on City Hall big screen

The Monday funeral of longtime Boston Mayor Tom Menino will be broadcast on a big screen at City Hall Plaza.

Before the noontime private funeral mass, a funeral possession will wind its way from Faneuil Hall, where Meninopresently lies in state, to Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park.

The procession will pass by a number of locations, including City Hall, Parkman House, Boston University in Kenmore Square, Fenway Park, Dudley Square, Grove Hall, Franklin Park, Bowdoin and Geneva, Mattapan Library and Roslindale Square.

The public is being encouraged to line the procession route.
