Metro Minute at the Science Café

Painting tumours with energetic proton beams is a novel and precise way to treat cancer. Join Carleton physics Prof. Gabriel Sawakuchi today at the Wild Oat Café for a discussion about proton therapy and its advantages over conventional cancer treatment. The discussion, which is open to people of all ages, followed by a question-and-answer session, will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 817 Bank St. in the Glebe.

The Science Café has award-winning faculty members in Carleton’s science department who talk about how science can help solve real-world problems. For more, visit
