Metro Minute with disc golf

If you’re tired of crazy green fees or golf country clubs, try disc golf — also known as Frisbee golf.

Disc golf is growing in popularity as a group sport because all it requires is the ability to throw a disc at a target. The game is inexpensive and is physically accessible for all ages and athletic ranges and attracts a diverse range of players.

The object of the game is to throw a Frisbee in the “pole hole” with as few “strokes” as possible, similar to traditional golf.

The Little Mountain disc golf course is at the southeast corner of Queen Elizabeth Park.

The park is also home to a pitch-and-putt course.

No green fees are required.
