It’s been an eventful season for Edmonton’s professional baseball club to date.
The Edmonton Capitals had a 13-game win streak come to an end at the hands of the Yuma Scorpions July 16, just one win shy of a Golden Baseball League record.
The Caps started a new win streak the next day, however, and Sunday they officially redeemed themselves by beating the Scorpions on the scoreboard and on the diamond as the teams cleared the benches with a brawl in the fourth inning.
The fun continues at Telus field today at 11:30 a.m. as the Caps take on the Tijuana Cimarrones.
