If you’re looking to see some unique films, take a few minutes to check out the GIRAF animation festival that runs through Sunday. In it’s sixth year, the Giant Incandescent Resonating Animation Festival only shows independent films.
The festival includes feature- and short-length films and is the only exclusively independent animation film festival in Canada.
Over the five days there will be film screenings, workshops and panel discussions. Today, the festival is screening Waking Sleeping Beauty at the Plaza Theatre in Kensington. Tickets are $10 or $12 and the show begins at 7 p.m.
