With so many options for Caribana weekend, choosing an event may start to leave you frazzled. Hey, man — Irie! No, literally: Irie. As in the Irie Music Festival, featuring a range of musical artists from the chilled out vibes of Solitair to the cool crooning of local R&B institution Chris Rouse.
Organizers say their goal is to “promote a greater understanding between the diverse cultures and traditions of Toronto,” which means there will be plenty of “one love” to go around. This year, the program runs at Queen’s Park, Nathan Philips Square and Yonge-Dundas Square, so check local listings for artists and showtimes.
