The 2010s provided nothing for the New York Yankees. 
 
No championships, no pennants, nothing. 
 
It’s one of the rarest and longest droughts in franchise history as this was the first decade since the 1910s that the Yankees didn’t at least appear in a World Series. 
 
Instead, this is a decade that will be remembered as one of transition as the Core 4 — Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter, Andy Pettitte, and Jorge Posada — disappeared.
