An 18-year-old Milton High School senior was struck and killed by a car on Wednesday in Milton, WHDH reported.
The incident reportedly took place around 3:30 p.m. when the victim, identified as Kate Lisa Etienne, was struck by a Jeep Wrangler on Brush Hill Road at Aberdeen Road.
“The Jeep swerved into the median while trying to avoid the pedestrian, state police said. The driver, a 44-year-old Hyde Park man, remained at the scene,” WCVB reported.
At this time, no charges have been pressed, and the crash is still under investigation.
Etienne was set to graduate this June, WCVB reported.
As a result of the death, grief counselors will be available at the high school for students and staff to speak with.
