Going through airport security sucks. It’s intrusive and stressful and everyone sees your socks. The TSA doesn’t seem to care how much we hate it – but would they care if we loooved it? Because actress Molly Shannon does, thanks to a neurological condition called ASMR.

Those with ASMR (orautonomous sensory meridian response) experience a scalp-tingling pleasure in response to soft whispers or clicks, or feeling gentle touch – such as, oh, a TSA agent patting them down. That’s what happened to Shannon the last time she flew, she told Conan on Tuesday. “[The security agent] said ‘I’m just going to put gloves on, and I’m going to pat you down here, and here, and here,’ and I was like, ‘Great!’ ” Shannon said, adding that because of her ASMR, the experience triggered tingly “head orgasms.”

Other things that give Shannon orgasms on her scalp include security agents opening her bag, soft voices counting down, and “amateur photographers trying to act professional.” No wonder she seems like such a happy person: Minor annoyances send her into a state of bliss.

Want to join her in Tingleville? You may already be a resident: Some ASMR sufferers (enjoyers?) don’t know they have it. How do you know if you have ASMR? For starters, try watching the video below and see if you get blissed out. I, sadly, just get creeped out.
