More snow is coming–just in time for Tuesday’s commute.
The five boroughs could get up to 4 inches of snow, with the storm beginning around 3 a.m. and lasting until late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Most of the snowfall, caused by a low-pressure system from the northwest, will end before 3 p.m.
When the snow begins to fall, temperatures will hover in the mid-20s, with a high of 33 degrees in the afternoon. Wind chills could drop to 21 degrees Tuesday morning, according to the Weather Service.
The Department of Sanitation called a “snow alert” beginning at 4 a.m. and said plows will be ready.
