Morgan Stanley broker implicated in Anna Gristina alleged prostitution ring

The Morgan Stanley broker who may have been a financial backer of an Upper East Side madam has been put on leave, sources told DNAinfo.

David Walker, who works in wealth management for the firm, will be out of the office until the investigation into Anna Gristina’s alleged prostitution ring concludes.

Walker allegedly met with Gristina just before she was busted for allegedly running a multi-million dollar prostitution service. Court documents alleged that she was trying to solicit money from Walker to fund an online business venture matching johns with hookers, according to the New York Post.

Yesterday, Walker defended Gristina as a “caring woman” and a “mom next door,” to DNAInfo.

“She had plenty of other people at Morgan Stanley, I don’t know why they’re talking about me,” he said to the website.

Gristina clients allegedly included powerful politicians, law enforcement officers, influential lawyers, bankers, entertainment execs and Fortune 500 businessmen, as well as several ultra-wealthy European clients, according to the Post.
